Lots of questions roll in by email or as comments on various posts.
I thought it might be good to put them all in one place, so you can all have all the answers.
SO IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION, ADD IT AS A COMMENT BELOW and I will answer it, if I can. I will not answer questions about my age, weight or whether or not I have ever had an Embarassing Stain….
I’ll answer a few here, too:
When does Darth Paper Strikes Back come out?
Looks like August, 2011!
Will Origami Yoda become a series?
I hope so… but the future is always in motion.
When can I buy your great new book, Horton Halfpott?RIGHT NOW! Find out more at HortonHalfpott.com. (This was a fake question.)
Do you want to see a picture of some Origami that I made?
Yes! Send it here.
What inspired you to write the book?
I was inspired by Fukiami Kawahata’s incredible origami Yoda, which I have never been able to fold because it is too difficult for me. So I tried to make an easier one myself…
How did you get into Star Wars?
I went to see it in the theater when I was 6. First action figure I bought was C3P0, I think. Back then we couldn’t watch the movie over and over at home. (No dvd, not even VCR) So the action figures, books, records and stuff were a huge part of the way we experienced Star Wars.
Who is your favorite Star Wars character?
Yoda
Which is your favorite movie?
Can’t pick between New Hope and Empire Stikes Back.
Can you post instructions for the Yoda on the cover?
No, I forgot how to make it and can’t figure it out again.
Instructions for the Van Jahnke Yoda?
No, I’ve never made one.
Instructions for C3PO?
C3P0 is a sloppy fold with lots of cheap tricks. It is not a proper piece of origami at all. If I put up the instructions you would just complain that they stink.
What pen do you use to draw the illustrations in the book?
A Pilot G2 gel .07.
OK, that’s enough to get started. Now add your own questions in the comments and check back soon for the answers….
