Commenter Blacklisted for #rword Violation!

Webmaster Sam: I’ve just erased comments by a commenter and blacklisted his future comments. I don’t think it was a SuperFolder, but it was not a random spammer. It was someone actually commenting on someone’s origami.

I’ll let Tom explain why.

Tom: Sam, thanks for taking care of this. I’m sorry that it may have been up for a few days while we were busy in DC.

This commenter called some of the origami on this site “retarded.”

First of all, there’s no reason to criticize other people’s origami. That’s Harvey’s job. DON’T BE A HARVEY!

But more importantly, using the word “retarded” as an insult is completely unacceptable. Even Harvey wouldn’t do something like that.

The “r” word is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If any one has ANY problem with someone’s origami and decides to say that word that is intolerable and that commenter must be removed. All of that is unacceptable!

I pledged. This is a great idea to get people to pledge. And to the person who said that mean word that I’m not even going to spell, if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all please, because it’s not nice. And that person that made the Origami is probably very sad right now. So please just don’t do it!

Whoever this was obviously doesn’t understand that we have rules here. I think if they WERE a real SF, they would see this post, and feel the shock of guilt, learning their lesson. No one has come foreward, so it was obviously either an internet troll, a hacker, or someone just random.
