Origami Yoda origami hat

Here’s the Origami Yoda folded hat I worked up for this weekend’s Peacework International Literacy Event “Walk to Read.”

I tried folding one using the same technique that makes my simple Origami Yoda finger puppet. That took a lot of work and was never satisfactory.

This hat is simply a variant of the old classic Samurai hat fold. Very fast and easy. So hopefully we’ll have lots of kids (and parents) folding them and wearing them during the walk, which promotes READING programs in 20 countries!
